Finding a URL Quickly

Posted by admin  on December 15, 2009 in Domains and Domain Names

Domain names play a vital role in SEO, and if you can find the right one for your niche, you’re already on to a winner!

Once you’ve drafted up a list of keywords, and keyword phrases to target, a simple way to check the availability of them as a domain name is to use GoDaddys bulk domain register tool which can be found here: GoDaddy bulk domain register.

I’d recommend copying and pasting your keywords, keyword phrases and also your keyword phrases with the spaces replaced with ‘-’ (in notepad, choose ‘Replace’ then replace a ’space’ with ‘-’) for example www.mygreatdomain.com and www.my-great-domain.com.

Tick .com, .net and .org and away you go (I personally wouldn’t choose any others if you’re after maximum visitors)

If you’re lucky you’ll be able to register a domain name which is also your chosen keyword!
