Get listed in Google… Fast

This is a common complaint from people eager to launch their new website… If you’ve built websites before, i’m sure you’ll be familiar with the Google ‘Submit URL’ page (http://www.google.co.uk/addurl/). Well here’s our first tip… don’t use it!!! Using the following technique you can speed up the process to just days, even hours!

If you’ve used it before, you’ll know that Google takes anything from 3weeks to 2 months to get round to indexing your new website, which is a pretty agonising wait if you’re keen to build up the hits.

Well you needn’t wait that long… in fact just to prove this technique works I tested it on this website and was indexed in under 10 hours!!!

The process is actually very simple. There are many websites out there that are indexed daily due to high-quality content and that all important Google PR ranking. The key is to get a link to your site on them! Think about it… Google’s spiders crawl through sites, jumping from link to link to find new pages, so if they come across a link to your site they’ll find it faster!

There are various ways to do this.. and you don’t even have to aim too high when it comes to PR rating. To take this site as an example… I placed a link on 1 x PR4 website, 2 x P3 websites and 4 x PR2 websites and was indexed in under 10 hours! Now i’m fortunate enough to have control over these sites, so placing a link on them was easy, but you get the idea.

As for finding websites with a decent enough PR I use and recommend downloading the Google Toolbar which can be found here.

So… some easy ways to get some reasonably high PR links for free would be to search for free link directories with a PR rating over 2, emailing the owners of related websites with a link exchange request and posting on internet forums including your link in your signature.

These on their own should be enough to fast-track your inclusion in Google. However you can also pay for a link on a high PR web directory (anything up to £40 for a month) which will get you listed quickly (remember to cancel your payment once listed!) but i’m trying to save you money here!

So get to it… get as many high PR links to your site and you’ll be indexed in double-quck time! Let me know how you get on.
